Understanding Startup Job Offers

Attend this session offered by Susan Neal, Entrepreneur in Residence at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship to hear about key considerations when evaluating a startup job offer. During this session you will:

– Learn about stock options & equity, including defining important terms and considerations

– Receive advice on how to evaluate and negotiate for components of your offer

There will be plenty of time for discussion, so come prepared with questions.

This workshop is sponsored by Career Advising and Professional Development (CAPD), the MIT Equal Pay working group, and the Office of Innovation. As part of the Inclusive Innovation Series, this workshop aims to educate and empower all students and postdocs with knowledge to evaluate and negotiate startup job offers. This event will take place on the 4th floor of E38.
