Linda Hogan is a Chickasaw writer, and author of many books of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction, including the acclaimed Mean Spirit and Solar Storms. She writes about the environment and eco-feminism, the relocation of Native Americans, and historical narratives. Hogan's honors include a Lannan Literary Award, an American Book Award, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Native Writers Circle of the Americas.
